Job Description: Software Engineer, Software Developer, Programmer

Position: FULL TIME / 40hrs week
Compensation: Competitive based on experience

Agilx is seeking a motivated and experienced mid level software developer to join our growing team. If you love programming and using the latest technologies to create new and innovative products, we would like to hear from you.

This position is for a mid level developer with at least three years of experience developing web-based applications using ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI and AngularJS.

Job Description: Quality Assurance Analyst

Position: FULL TIME / 40hrs week
Compensation: Competitive based on experience

Are you the person people turn to for technical help? Have you helped fix your mom’s computer countless times? Do your friends call you for answers on the latest phones and gadgets? Then you may be the perfect fit for Agilx! We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) professional to test new and existing client software releases, monitor our internal ticketing system, and reply to and resolve customer issues in a timely manner. 

QA responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging releases, and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. bug counts / resolutions and support ticket status). The Agilx QA position will monitor our internal ticketing system and reply to customer-submitted tickets in a timely and professional manner in accordance with our ticket aging policy. 

The QA analyst role plays an important part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs while being cost-effective.

Ultimately, you should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Monitor and respond to client tickets
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
  • Communicate with internal teams (e.g. developers and project managers) to identify system requirements
  • Monitor debugging process results
  • Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Requirements

  • Knowledge of desktop and web applications
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process preferred
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
