As part of this season’s E.N. Thompson Forum, themed “Water and Global Security” Michael Forsberg will speak on “Pulse of the Plains: A Photographer’s Journey Connecting Water, Wildlife and Landscape”

A portion of Forsberg’s presentation will focus on the Platte River Basin Time-lapse project which currently includes 22 cameras strategically placed along the Platte River from its starting points in Wyoming and Colorado to the confluence of the Missouri river. Forsberg has partnered with the local software company Agilx to develop a content delivery prototype that will showcase the Platte River time-lapse project to the public. Agilx will continue to work with Forsberg among others to develop what will become the Interactive Cinematic Experience. Jake McElroy of Agilx says “Michael has an important message to deliver. We are excited for this opportunity to use our technical experience to assist in telling the complex story of the Platte River.”

This Event begins at 7:00pm on December 6th at the Lied Center. The event is free and seating will be on a first come first serve basis.
